Andy Meyer is Managing Partner at Twain Capital Partners and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to Twain Capital, Andy served as Chief Revenue Officer at Petros Partners (owned by Apollo Global Management), where he was a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and managed all origination, debt structuring and pricing functions of the company.
Prior to Petros, Andy started and led the C-PACE financing business at an affiliated entity, Twain Financial Partners, and assisted with structuring and closing the company’s tax credit, debt and equity investments. Andy began his career as a real estate and structured finance attorney at Husch Blackwell LLP.
Brennen Brown is Managing Partner at Twain Capital Partners and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Prior to Twain Capital, Brennen was a Managing Director at D.A. Davidson where he ran the firm’s Development Finance Group. While there, Brennen originated and closed over $4 billion of real estate development transactions across the country touching every asset class.
Brennen began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and responsible for deploying capital into real estate transactions nationwide.
Darren Mower is Managing Partner at Twain Capital Partners and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Darren is a seasoned financial expert with over 20 years of lending experience across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
As the founder and sole owner of MDQ Management, he built a reputable firm specializing in bridge loans ranging from $1 million to $20 million. Under his leadership, MDQ Management successfully raised capital and underwrote loans, providing tailored financing solutions to clients.
Darren’s industry knowledge, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence established him as a trusted fiduciary in the lending and financial management space.
Mike Flavin is Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at Twain Capital Partners and assists with the firm’s underwriting and due diligence efforts across all product offerings.
Before Twain, Mike served as a Senior Associate at Altus Properties, LLC, a real estate private equity firm, assisting in the underwriting of value-add equity positions across multifamily, retail, office and industrial sectors throughout the Country. Prior to Altus, Mike served various roles in infrastructure investment banking, most recently as an Associate at Jefferies, LLC.
Matt Hatch is Vice President of Real Estate Capital Markets at Twain Capital Partners, where he focuses on originating, structuring, and underwriting short-term, real estate-backed loans, with an emphasis on land, predevelopment, and bridge financing. He is also involved in asset management and works closely with borrowers and capital partners to deliver well-structured financing solutions.
Prior to joining Twain Capital Partners, Matt served as Director of Finance and Underwriting at MDQ Management, where he oversaw loan structuring, risk analysis, and the execution of the firm’s land and bridge lending platform. His background also includes land development for a regional homebuilder and experience as a commercial loan officer, giving him a well-rounded perspective across the lending and real estate development lifecycle.
Matt holds a Master’s in Real Estate Development from the University of Utah.
As Co-Founder and President of Twain Financial Partners, Marc focuses on corporate strategy and culture and oversees the Client Services, Business Intelligence and Asset Management divisions.
Prior to co-founding Twain in 2013, Marc was part of the Senior Leadership Team at the US Bancorp Community Development Corporation (USBCDC). In his twelve years at the bank, Marc ran numerous divisions including the Syndications, New Business Development, Asset Management, and the Historic/New Markets/Renewable Energy Tax Credits Production Group.
As Co-Founder and Managing Director of Twain Financial Partners, Matt focuses on new opportunities and corporate strategy, while overseeing both the Investments and Corporate Accounting departments.
Before co-founding Twain, Matt was a VP of US Bancorp Community Development Corporation (USBCDC) and served in numerous roles within the organization. Matt spent his final two years at USBCDC working on the new business development team, which led to the formation of Twain. Prior to USBCDC, Matt worked for an investment bank and a hedge fund.
